Integrity

Natalie was digging through the snack drawer.

I said, "Natalie, don't get a snack now. I am fixing dinner." She goes out the back door to play.

I continue on with all the many things that make up an evening at our house. I go outside to give the rabbit her food and water and notice that Natalie has disappeared.

I come inside to find her and there she is, eating a snack.

"Natalie," I said, "I told you don't get a snack Why did you get a snack?"

"Well," she says, "You weren't in here to stop me."

The mall. . . my first mistake.

We all went to the mall- I should have known better.  People over 30 shouldn’t be allowed in mall’s for their own sake.
Marilynn and I were looking through a bin of clearance sale shirts.  I pulled out a flouncy little tank top in extra bold colors, and contemplated buying it because $2.99 can make anything look good.  I held it against me and asked Travis, “Is this hideous?”
Travis nods ‘yes’ and laughs at me for considering it.  Marilynn quickly comes to the rescue by saying, “Yes, but it would look good on you.”
